Withdrawing crypto

Allowlisted addresses, screening, and why the first send to a new address is slower.

Withdrawals go to addresses in your address book. Adding a new address puts it on your allowlist, which on live accounts carries a cooldown and step-up verification before its first use.

The address format is validated against the network you picked, which catches the most common copy-paste error before it costs you anything.

Every withdrawal is screened before it is broadcast. Once broadcast, it is irreversible — there is no support ticket that can undo it.

For certain transfers the law (including the Travel Rule) requires information about the beneficiary. We ask only when that applies.
