What you need to open an account
Baynoy is for registered businesses. Here is exactly what we ask for, and why.
You need a registered company, the authority to act for it, and a bank account in the company's name for payouts. Sole proprietors are welcome where the law recognises them as businesses.
The application asks where the company is incorporated, where it operates, what you sell, your expected volume, and which products you need. That combination decides which products and corridors we can open — we tell you before you spend time on documents if something isn't supported.
You will also identify the directors and every owner holding 25% or more. This is a legal requirement for regulated payment products, not a credit check, and it does not affect anyone's personal finances.
Nothing is charged during the application. If we can't open the account, we say so plainly and no money changes hands.
