1. What we use

Baynoy uses as few cookies as a payments product can. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, on any Baynoy surface.

2. Essential cookies

These make the product work and need no consent:

• ·Session and sign-in state (keeping you signed in securely).
• ·Security cookies (fraud and abuse prevention, step-up verification state).
• ·Preferences you set explicitly, such as your dashboard workspace selection.

3. Analytics — only with consent

If you consent, we enable two analytics tools. Plausible is self-hosted and cookieless: it counts pages, sets nothing, and its data stays on our infrastructure. Google Analytics 4 is Google's, and it does set cookies (`_ga`, `_ga_<id>`, expiring after two years) and sends visit data to Google — we run it with Google Signals and ad personalisation switched off and IP addresses truncated, so it measures visits rather than building an advertising profile. Decline and neither loads; the site works identically. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner link in the footer.

Language is never stored in a cookie — it comes from the address of the page you are on.

4. Managing cookies

Your browser can block or delete cookies; blocking essential cookies will break sign-in. Our consent banner controls everything non-essential — decline and no analytics cookie is set at all. You can also opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with Google's browser add-on.

5. Changes

If we ever add a cookie category, it appears here and in the consent banner before it is set.
