Replacing Patreon: a tip jar that takes 0.5%, not 10%

Patreon takes 8–12% of every supporter contribution, then the card processor takes 2.9% + 30¢, then payouts to your bank add another FX hit if you are outside the US. On a $10 tip, your creator nets about $7.20. That is brutal at scale.

The Baynoy tip widget is one script tag. Drop it on any page (Ghost, Substack, your own portfolio), pick a default amount, done. Supporters pay with card, Apple Pay, or USDC directly. Our fee on the Pro plan is 0.5% — on the same $10 tip you keep $9.66 after card interchange. Across 1,000 supporters per month that is $2,460 more reaching the creator instead of the platform.

Three things make this work: hosted checkout (no PCI scope on your site), instant USDC payouts (you do not wait two weeks for a 'creator balance' to be released) and stripped-down KYC (card onboarding in ~3 minutes for tip volumes under $5k/month).
